Gift giving is one of my love languages and I love giving the gift of Glossier to friends and family. If you’re new to the blog (welcome!) and thinking about trying Glossier, you’ve come to the right place! I’ve tried every single Glossier product and you can see my ultimate guide to the best (and worst) products here.
Glossier will have their annual Black Friday weekend sale and it’s right around the corner! Head to their website here for early access and save this post so you can reference it later when you shop and save!
Glossier gifts to give & get
This oil-serum hybrid is one of the best gifts to give or get for the winter months. There are multiple ways it can be used: as the last step in your skincare routine, as a highlighter, or as a primer.
The scent is unique yet natural and not overwhelming—definitely a great every day fragrance. Base notes include ambrette (comfy, warm), ambrox (smooth) and musk (long-lasting); top notes include iris root (earthy, green) and pink pepper (sparkling, spice). A perfect gift for a significant other, daughter, mother, or close friend.
Gifting someone hand cream and lip balm is easy, convenient and yet, still personal. The palm-sized pod hand cream quickly absorbs into skin and the scent is not overwhelming. The packaging is also recyclable! Customize the Balm Dotcom flavor based on a mood or season.
The Makeup Set and Beauty Bag (limited edition set)
The Makeup Set includes Cloud Paint shade of your choice (8 to choose from!), Boy Brow (choose from four shades) and Lash Slick Mascara. This set also comes with the Beauty Bag, which has a coated cotton exterior and felt interior organizer so you can carry everything you need when you travel while keeping it organized and spill-proof. Give this to someone who loves experimenting with new products, has a minimalist makeup routine, or need a few products to grab for a quick and easy look.
Perhaps one of the easiest and best sets to gift to a friend, co-worker or relative who is new to Glossier. I would personally recommend Rose, Coconut, and Cookie Butter because it’s like a balm for all seasons; Cookie Butter (new, limited edition flavor) for the fall, Rose in the winter, Coconut for the spring/summer.
The Essentials Edit (holiday exclusive)
Get this holiday exclusive makeup and skincare set for the person always on-the-go. The set offers Glossier skincare bestsellers in mini sizes (perfect for sampling). Includes: Milky Jelly Cleanser, Priming Moisturizer (mini), Rose Balm Dotcom (mini ), Boy Brow in Clear (full size), and Lash Slick mascara (full size).
The Lip Trio in Cranberry (holiday exclusive)
I scooped up this trio right away when it went live. This especially festive cranberry shade comes in three different finishes: lip gloss (shiny, cushiony with a sheer tint of color), Ultralip (review here), and Generation G (sheer matte lipstick).
The Bath Duo (holiday exclusive)
For the homebody who loves a good bath soak. They can fill their tub with nourishing Bath Pods (orange blossom neroli-scented pods) that dissolve easily in warm water and they can light this orange blossom mini candle (4 oz.) which has 27 hours of burn times.
Glossier launched a refillable monochromatic eyeshadow trio so someone can reach for their signature shade in three different finishes. The packaging is recyclable and the formula is vegan, ideal for the socially conscious makeup minimalist. My favorites include Almond, a rosy brown, and in my opinion, works really well for everyday and any outfit. I also love Prairie (olive green) and Teak (warm chocolate brown).
For Glossier girl. If you missed out on the limited edition sage hoodie, don’t fret, the pink hoodie is just as comfy and is perfect for year-round wear. The hoodies have a slightly oversized fit so if you want a more fitted look, size down.
For the person who loves a *glowing* complexion. This duo is like the perfect finishing touch for any holiday makeup look. Haloscope is available in three shades (I personally love Moonstone which has an opalescent glaze) and choose from nine shades of Ultralip (Villa has become my everyday go-to neutral).
For the person who never sent you their wish list. Some may argue that a gift card is impersonal but they’ll be more appreciative that they can choose what they want to purchase and on their own time. The gift card is available in various amounts starting at $15.
