What You Need to Know: 2019 Sephora Beauty Insider Sale

It’s the most wonderful time of the year—for beauty junkies at least!

I’ve been patiently waiting for the dates to be released for the 2019 Sephora Beauty Insider Sale (also known as the Spring Bonus Event), and it’s almost here!!

I kicked off 2019 with a no spend challenge for two months so my beauty spending has significantly decreased. I knew the spring sale would be right around the corner and so I’ve been thinking about all the products I want to buy and restock.

What is the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale?

Sephora has a discount event twice a year (once in the spring and once in the fall). Last year it was called the Spring Bonus Event and I assume that will be the same name this year.

The sale is for Sephora Beauty Insider members and depending on your annual spend; it allows you to shop all Sephora products at a discount. If you’re not a current Beauty Insider member it’s free to sign up.

No minimum purchase is required to get the discount, but whatever free shipping minimum you have for online orders applies during the event. The discount is available online using a promo code and it will also apply in-store as well.

Listed below are the following tiered discounts and shopping dates, depending on your member status:

VIB Rouge: 20% off everything, 4/26 – 5/2 with code HEYROUGE
VIB: 15% off everything, 5/2 – 5/6 with code HEYVIB
Beauty Insider Members: 10% off everything, 5/2-5/6 with code HEYINSIDER

Usually VIB Rouge gets early access to shop during the sale prior to it being released for VIB and Beauty Insider members.

I’ve been a VIB member for a few years so 15% is a decent discount. 10% is basically no sales tax. However, I’ll take anything to avoid paying full price!

During the last sale, I stocked up on so many great products (see photo above) and this year I’m hoping to scoop up more skincare than makeup (and more specifically, more clean beauty). A sale like this one is the perfect excuse to try out some new brands and restock on old favorites.
