Sephora Spring Sale: Dates, Discount Codes & Recommendations

Sharing my everyday makeup, skincare and clean beauty recommendations for the Sephora spring sale

The Sephora spring sale is right around the corner! If you have Rouge status with Sephora, you’ll have first access to the sale. Plus, Sephora is giving Rouge members the ability to “bring a plus one” to early access.

I’ve rounded up my top 12 everyday makeup and skincare products for this post. The Sephora Sale is a great excuse to treat yourself, try a new product you’ve been eyeing or restock on old favorites.

If you want more beauty recommendations, you can read past Sephora sale beauty picks here.

What is the Sephora Spring Sale?

A couple times a year, Sephora offers a site wide discount for Beauty Insider members. The discount percentages vary between membership levels but essentially, the more you spend at Sephora during the calendar year, then the more you save.

If you are not currently a Beauty Insider member, then you can sign up here. It’s completely free to join and you’ll qualify for the 10% discount. There are more benefits to becoming a member that you can check out below.

Below is a quick breakdown of the tiered discounts and dates for the Sephora spring sale. The promo code is the same for all members: use code SAVESPRING.

Rouge Members get 20% off, 4/1 through 4/11
VIB Members get 15% off 4/5 through 4/11
BI Members get 10% off, 4/17 through 4/11

Sephora Spring Sale Recommendations for The Beauty Minimalist

Skincare

Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask: I picked up the mini size during one of my Sephora hauls last year and albeit pricey, it’s totally worth the hype in my opinion. The overnight mask is thick and creamy, but hydrating and I love waking up with a glowy complexion. I use this twice a week.

Makeup by Mario Perfecting Lip Scrub: This is my favorite lip scrub, mostly because I don’t have to dig my fingers into a jar. I use this 2-3x per week before applying lipstick and I think it’s gentle enough that it doesn’t irritate my skin but effective that my lips are much more smooth and less flaky.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask:  A leave-on lip mask that comes with a tiny brush (so you can scoop out product without having to dip your finger in the jar) and after a good night’s sleep, you wake up to healthy, glowing lips. I have the original berry scent but it comes in four other flavors.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40: ‘Tis the season for sunscreen; well, it’s always the season for sunscreen but especially now. This is my favorite invisible sunscreen that also doubles as a makeup gripping primer.

Summer Fridays Body Lotion: I love the coconut scent when first applied. The lotion has been very nourishing for my dry skin and it absorbs relatively quickly without it being too heavy or looking greasy.

Farmacy Filling Good Serum: I’ve restocked on this serum twice in the last year and while I do go through the bottle fairly quickly, it’s become my holy grail hydrating and plumping serum. It takes a couple of weeks to see the results but my skin looks youthful and hydrated.

Makeup

Merit Clean Lash Lengthening Tubing Mascara: This has basically replaced my tube of Glossier Lash Slick. The wand is slightly wider than Lash Slick but it gives my puny lashes more volume, in addition to length. It’s the only high-end mascara I use daily and would recommend that doesn’t clump and can hold a curl.

Tower 28 BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream Blush: The formula is very emollient, leave a beautiful natural glow and lasts all day. It’s easy to blend with your fingers or brush. I have the shade Magic Hour, a sun-kissed rosy nude, and my go-to for the spring and summer months.

Rare Beauty Bronzer Stick: This bronzer stick goes on smooth and takes seconds to blend. It’s creamy but still dries down beautifully. I have the shade, Happy Sol, which has a cooler undertone but I have to apply with a light hand. Available in five shades (and hoping they expand).

Merit Perfecting Complexion Foundation and Concealer Stick: I basically stopped using liquid foundation once I discovered this complexion stick because it saves me time and it’s much less messy. I highly recommend the Blending Brush to purchase with it. It’s the dream team!

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow: For an easy “one and done” eyeshadow look. Goes on super smooth, easy to blend and absolutely no budging. Comes in shimmer, matte and metallic finishes. I have Amethyst (soft mauve with shimmer finish) and Au Naturel (matte nude).

Merit Signature Lip Lightweight Lipstick: Can you tell I’m a huge fan of this brand? I have the shade Millennial, a classic pink, that looks great for daytime wear and feels comfortable on the lips. It feels like I’m wearing chapstick; super comfortable on the lips with a satin finish. 10/10 would recommend.

Here’s what I’m planning to buy during the sale:

Benefit 24-HR Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel with Lamination Effect
Makeup by Mario MoistureGlow Plumping Lip Serum
Laura Mercier Eye Basics Primer in Linen (currently out of stock but hopefully I can add it to my cart)
Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick in Cocoa (adding another shade to my collection)
Rare Beauty Powder Brush and Soft Radiance Setting Powder
Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 (new & dropping on 3/30!)
