Natural Skincare: Fleur and Bee Review

Vegan Skincare for Sensitive Skin - Fleur and Bee Review featured by top MD beauty blogger, The Beauty Minimalist

As I mentioned earlier this year, one of my beauty resolutions is to incorporate more natural skincare into my routine. I’m excited about today’s post and to share with you a new brand to the natural skincare space—Fleur & Bee.

A rep for the brand reached out to me and offered to send me full-size samples to try. For the record, I never accept free product in exchange for reviews (I only accept for editorial consideration) so this was up to me if I wanted to share my thoughts on the products. As always, all opinions are my own and of course, this is not sponsored.

First Impressions on Fleur and Bee Products

The packaging is simple and cute. Pale pink boxes (love!) and on every panel of the box they’ve got great talking points about their mission and cruelty free beauty message.

Fleur & Bee has a “beyond skincare” mission. On each box it states: “We believe in empowering all women to feel comfortable in their own skin. For some, that starts with the basics.” Also, for every order placed, Fleur & Bee will donate 1% of sales to help distribute hygiene products to girls in need.

Eyes Eyes Baby Anti-Aging Eye Cream, $34

This little jar is my favorite of the bunch for a couple of different reasons. First, I needed a new eye cream and I was hoping to use something non-toxic and safe for my under eye. Something that will smooth the way for makeup in the morning and this is it. The texture feels a little more thick than other eye creams I’ve tried in the past but it absorbs quickly.

Nectar of the C, Rejuvenating Vitamin C Serum, $34

Ingredients in this formula: vitamin E (antioxidant known to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and discoloration), vitamin C and ferulic acid (when combined with vitamins C and E it has a compounding effect to reduce the signs of aging).

This serum has a milky look and a light citrus scent. Not gonna lie, I was the most nervous about trying this product because my skin is so sensitive and the last time I tried a vitamin C serum my face turned red and blotchy. I first did a 24-hour test patch to make sure I wouldn’t break out. The following evening I applied it prior to the face cream. Right now I’m really into layering a bunch of skincare products before bed for that wet look and then the perks of waking up to smooth, hydrated skin.

Crème de la Cream Moisturizing Face Cream, $34

The main ingredients in this face cream include Aloe Vera, Vitamin C and Vitamin B3 (helps skin retain its moisture and has also been known to brighten and smooth skin texture). Similar to the eye cream this formula absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel greasy. It has a natural scent (smells like fresh laundry to me). It does feel thicker than other face creams I own so I don’t know if I’ll use this every night in the summer but perfect for transitioning to the spring season.

Compared to other natural skincare brands, these products are definitely affordable. Everything is priced under $35! If you were trying to incorporate more natural skincare into your routine like me, I would say go for my favorite, the eye cream.
