I may not be the most athletic person, but I do enjoy working out. I go to yoga during the week (a nice perk at my full-time job) and occasionally I work out (emphasize occasionally). I also recently bought my fiancé a FitBit for his birthday.. and now I want one! It’s such a cool device. I’m trying to incorporate more fitness related activities in to my daily routine. So I was pretty pleased when I heard the news SoulCycle, a premier indoor cycling studio, is opening its first location in DC tomorrow! My friends in New York rave about this boutique studio so I know it has to be good.
If you aren’t familiar with SoulCycle, it’s basically a 45-minute full-body indoor cycling dance part on a bike. While you’re experiencing an intense cardio fitness workout, you’ll be releasing stress, burning fat, and toning muscles. Boasting over 3,000 square feet, SoulCycle DC features a 55-bike studio and a Soul retail boutique (featuring some really cute workout clothes!). I’m going to sign up for a few classes when I get some free time later this month. If you live in the suburbs of Maryland, stay tuned for a SoulCycle to open in Bethesda this fall! In the meantime, check meet your SoulCycle DC instructors over on RackedDC.
