Sharing My Collection of The Best Lip Gloss & Lipsticks

Sharing my entire lipstick and lip gloss inventory, plus my favorite lip gloss and lipsticks.

I’ve been slowly but surely cleaning up my stash of beauty products and I’m doing an audit on my lipstick and gloss inventory.

As I sifted through all my lip products while throwing out old, expired tubes, I realized I have a type. Most of my lippie collection consists of pink/nude and pale pink shades. Yes, a few classic blue-red lipsticks, but mostly lipsticks and glosses that are super neutral or very pink. My Glossier BDC in Mango is the closest thing I have to a coral shade.

Out of my entire collection, these are the best lip gloss and lipsticks I love and use often.

Total lippies: 33

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick: It’s a very classic, pinky-nude lipstick. It does have a matte finish so I purchased the matching lip gloss separately so I could layer it on top for a more luminous look.

Glossier Lip Gloss: I have all three shades—original/clear, red and holographic. The original is my favorite and personally I think it’s the best lip gloss. I keep this in my purse at all times. It instantly glams up any natural daytime look.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-In-Stick Lipstick in Nude Lavalliere: I love this pinky-nude color, it’s very flattering against my fair skin tone. The packaging is limited-edition but you can still shop this same lipstick and shade.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y: This is a shimmering cool-toned pink lip gloss I’ve been using for over a year now and it looks super flattering on my fair skin tone. Compared to other lip glosses, I don’t find the formula to feel tacky so my hair doesn’t get stuck to the gloss.

Marc Jacobs Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick: I have the shade, Sugar Sugar, and it’s a beautiful shimmering nude. A couple layers of it on my lips and it looks opaque enough to look like lipstick, which I love. It’s very hydrating and compliments any makeup look.

Kylie Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Bare: I’ve only owned the matte lip kits from Kylie Cosmetics so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I love the velvet finish. My dry lips in the winter time really can’t handle matte lipstick without cracking.

Glossier Balm Dotcom: I own every single flavor but if I could narrow it down to two favorites it would be Rose and Coconut. You can shop Balm Dotcom here.

NARS Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight: This shade was one of the first lip glosses I ever spent my hard earned babysitting money on when I was a teenager. Of course, I purchased a fresh tube earlier last year but I will say it is a stickier compared to others. I’m willing to look past that though because I’m just obsessed with this pink sherbet shade.

MAC Lipstick in Crème Cup: This is a neutral-toned, medium pink with a creamy pearl finish. I wore this shade on my wedding day and so I hold this lippie near and dear to my heart.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy: I think most Chanel makeup products are overpriced but if I were to recommend one thing, it would be a Chanel lipstick. Rouge Coco Shine is a sheer lipstick and honestly looks and feels like a balm, but that’s why I love it. Boy is a beautiful rose pink with just a hint of gold. If you decide to order from the Chanel website then you’ll also receive beautiful packaging and free samples.
