French Skincare Haul from Paris

CityPharma Paris France

Bonjour! I’m back with a French skincare haul and review.

In May, I had the most amazing European trip – exploring, eating, drinking, and shopping my way through the streets of Paris.

Many French skincare brands are accessible to purchase in the states but they can be much more expensive or hard to find. Being the skincare junkie I am, I could not possibly go to Paris without shopping at a French pharmacy. So many familiar and unfamiliar brands but the best part is the price point!

I went to the popular French pharmacy – the viral, CityPharma in Paris. It’s just a few walking steps from the Metro. As soon as I walked in all I could think was, I’m in skincare heaven! Special shoutout to my husband, who patiently waited as I combed through each aisle.

Here’s everything I purchased for myself at CityPharma…

A flat lay of French skincare products

Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum
A cult favorite in the states – it normally retails for $82!! I was able to get this in Paris for 42 Euros! The serum helps fade dark spots and evens skin tone, and it smells divine! My only regret is not buying two bottles to take home for myself. I’ve already noticed a difference after applying morning and night for the last month. 12/10 would definitely repurchase.

Caudalie Vinosun SPF 50
The pharmacist recommended this sunscreen for my very fair and sensitive complexion. On my no makeup days, I reach for this but the unscented version doesn’t smell great. I have no doubt I’ll empty this by mid-summer but would not purchase again.

Caudalie Vinosun SPF 50 Stick
The sunscreen stick is my obsession and I carry it in my handbag at all times because it’s convenient and easy to apply on top of makeup without smearing. I’m so glad I purchased this!

Condense Crème Calmante (Restoring & Soothing Cream)
The pharmacist directed me to this brand which I mentioned my very dry, sensitive skin type. I love this moisturizer! It has a light herbal scent (similar to some of the Caudalie products) and feels like a nice moisturizer for the summer months. It has a creamy texture that doesn’t feel greasy or sticky. Would definitely repurchase if I ever go back to Paris.

Condense Melting Exfoliating Mask
I was on the hunt for an exfoliating scrub or mask and the pharmacist recommended this one for sensitive skin. It smells nice and feels good on the skin – for a light exfoliation it works for sensitive skin types; however I think I still prefer my Maelove Exfoliator.

Condense Anti-Redness Soothing Serum
Another recommendation from the pharmacist. My skin feels incredibly soft after I use it; plus fades any redness or irritation while restoring the skin.

Nuxe Honey Lip Oil
This went viral on TikTok and naturally I needed to see what the fuss was about. The packaging is super cute with the little honeycomb applicator. It has an ultra-glossy finish. If you’re a lip gloss girlie, you’ll love this.

Nuxe Moisturizing Stick (Lip Balm – 2 pack)
I keep one lip balm on my nightstand and another in my purse at all times. It’s smooth but not waxy. I wouldn’t say this is any different compared to my beloved Aquaphor lip balm but a nice change up from my usual routine.
