Nudestix Review & Swatches

I mentioned it in my January beauty favorites post but this trio of Nudestix eye shadow sticks deserves its own post.

I’ve always loved cream-based eyeshadows. They are easy to apply and blend.

I purchased the Nudestix Nude Metallics for Eyes set on Sephora for $25 ($78 value). I thought it was a good price considering a full-size eye color stick costs $26 and this set gives you 3 mini sizes, plus its usual packaging (tin with mirror and a sharpener).

The set also gives you three shades you can make a complete look with (highlighter, crease color and liner/dark color). I find myself using Nudity all over my lid and crease and then I’ll use Smoke across my upper and lower lash line for some definition. The color goes on quickly and it’s so creamy. I feel like Burnish is very similar to Nuditiy, so much so that I don’t find myself using that shade as often.

I notice when I wear my eyelid primer, the colors will crease around the 7th hour mark. So I tried something different in my routine—I didn’t wear any eye primer. I just packed the color on my lids and it looked like my eye color didn’t budge all day. That’s a win in my book!

I think this set is great for on-the-go girls, especially if you don’t like to spend too much time on your eye makeup before work. It took me all of maybe four minutes to apply all three shades and spend the time blending with my finger (or sometimes an eyeshadow brush).

One of my goals this year is to buy fewer better beauty products and be less wasteful so I won’t be buying the full-size version unless I run out but I have a feeling these will last a while, which makes this purchase an even better value.

Have you tried anything from Nudestix? Are there other products from the brand I should try?
