It’s hard to believe it’s almost Thanksgiving. Are you ready for 2020 to be over?
With COVID-19 cases skyrocketing across the country, it’s so important to stay home and avoid social gatherings. As much as I would love to see my mom or my in-laws on Thanksgiving, my husband and I decided it was best for us to stay home and have our own Thanksgiving.
Beauty hasn’t been top of mind lately (I have some exciting news to share next week!), but I do have a few hero products I’ve been relying on lately. Here are my November beauty favorites.
Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm
I’ve had a sample of this cleansing balm sitting in my beauty cabinet and finally decided to give it a try. I’m thoroughly impressed with how well it removes makeup while leaving my skin feel silky smooth. I like to double cleanse every night and paired with my Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, this is a new routine I love.
Bronze & Glow Contour Duo
This was in my latest Sephora haul and I’m so glad I purchased this! I bought this solely for the contour and it works really well for my very fair skin tone. It’s not super pigmented but I prefer a subtle bronze.
Futuredew is one of my holy grail products for an extra boost of hydration and overall glowy skin. I like to mix it with my moisturizer if I don’t plan on wearing makeup and if I do, I like to use it as a primer. It makes all the difference! If you’re thinking about purchasing Futuredew or anything else from Glossier, mark your calendars for the upcoming Black Friday weekend sale (everything will be 25% off).
Deep Conditioning Hair Masks
I treated myself to this hair mask kit and I’m really blown away by this repair mask. After just one treatment, my hair is noticeably soft, more hydrated and luminous. My hair feels so soft and nourished after using and I’m hoping it just keeps getting better and better with each application. This is definitely a winner in the hair department!
OK, technically this is neither makeup nor skincare but personal hygiene is so important. At the recommendation of my dental hygienist, I purchased Cocofloss, which is described as “luxury dental floss.” It comes in numerous flavors (dark chocolate, strawberry, coconut, etc.) but I’m a basic B and I like the classic minty fresh floss. I feel so bougie for using this but hey, it works and I like it better than what I can buy at the drugstore! You can shop via their direct-to-consumer site and get 20% off through 12/3 (use promo code BFF20).
