I’m currently on a French skincare kick, then again, when have I not been? I’ve been trying to crack the code to maintaining beautiful Parisian-like skin since I started this blog back in 2012. I think I’m one step closer though thanks to my obsession with Caudalie.
In case you’re not familiar, Caudalie is a French skincare company known for their grape-oriented skincare products. I was first introduced to Caudalie when I tried their Beauty Elixir a few years ago. It’s a plant based anti-dull complexion treatment that was designed to set makeup, smooth away fine lines, tighten pores and boost radiance. It’s a face mist best seller and a cult-favorite among beauty enthusiasts (me included!).
From radiance boosting serums to tinted lip balm, I rounded up my favorite Caudalie skincare products that I think you’ll love too.
Vinoperfect Radiance Serum: I was so excited to try this oil-free serum when I scooped up my Sephora birthday gift set last year and then, all hell broke loose when the skincare mini fell out of its box and broke into a million little pieces as I left Sephora. [Insert crying emoji here] Lucky for me, the Caudalie team was kind of enough to send me the full-size version so I could put it to the test. This is my new favorite serum and here’s why: this bottle has an ingredient from the grape vine sap that is clinically proven to be 62 times more effective than vitamin C. My skin looks brighter and more even.
Beauty Elixir: I swear, life is better when you’ve got a toning mist on your vanity. This one feels incredible refreshing and it’s a great midday pick-me-up. I’ve gone through at least two full bottles since I started blogging back in 2012. I like spritzing it on my hands and then rubbing them together to gently pat on my face to refresh. If you’re not ready to splurge, I highly recommend scooping up a limited-edition mini for just $18. Just the smell alone will make you feel energized.
Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet: This is my favorite daily moisturizer simply because it doesn’t smother my pores or feel heavy on my skin. It’s a gel-cream formula and it feels super lightweight as soon as it touches my skin. I’ll apply this in an upward sweeping motion after I’ve applied the serum. It has a subtle, refreshing scent (nothing overwhelming). My skin always feels well-balanced when I use this. I’m hoping I can continue using this in the winter. Overnight Detox Oil: When my skin looks dull and tired, I’ll apply 5-6 drops of this dry oil before bed. By morning my skin looks brighter and so much happier. I don’t have time to mask every day and this is a better alternative as it works to flush out impurities.
French Kiss Tinted Lip Balm: I love a good tinted lip balm that I can carry in my purse at all times—and this one in Seduction doesn’t disappoint. For those days when I need a hint of color, this sheer mauve keeps my lips soft for hours. Also available in two other colors.
