Mask Magic: Firming Eye Gels

Firming Eye Gels - Politics of PrettyThis week marks National Sleep Awareness Week. I only know this because a press release popped up in my inbox. Between work, blogging, and prepping for another apartment move, I know I’m not going to achieve 8 hours of sleep every night but hey, I’m really good at faking it and it’s partially thanks to a pair of Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. So, in case you can’t always get a good amount of shut eye, here’s a nice alternative.

What it does: This transdermal gel patch is supposed to help de-puff, tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

What it felt like: Ultra tingly and refreshing. I was supposed the firming eye gels on for 10 minutes but it felt so good I lost track of time.

What I did while I masked: I started watching the new ABC show, The Family. I love thriller-type TV shows and this one is pretty gripping.

The results: These under eye patches were easy to peel and apply without pulling my skin. My under eye area instantly felt smooth, soft and moisturized after several minutes. Puffy eyes have never been a major concern for me but it’s never too early to help prevent the early signs of aging. You guys, I’m 27… but I live the life of a 35-year-old. I go to bed at 10 p.m. and I look forward to watching Dateline and 20/20 on Friday nights with my husband. Anyways, $30 gets you 8 pairs of eye gels and yes, they are worth every penny.
