You guys, I finally crafted the perfect mascara cocktail to achieve a longer, fuller lashes. It didn’t hit me right away—in fact, it actually took two friends and four random strangers commenting on my eyelashes last week for me to realize that whatever I was doing was working!
This beauty tip is too good not to share with you all. I’m not sure if it’s the products or the technique, but I’d like to think it’s a combination of both. So here it goes…
First, I apply a coat of Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara. I discovered this when I did a sponsored post on Instagram and I’ve been hooked ever since. This brush effectively separates and lengthens my lashes in one fell swoop.
After I’ve waited a few minutes for the first coat to dry, I go in with a second coat—but this time with L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise. This mascara reminds me of my once beloved Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (even the packaging is similar) but it’s only a mere $9 compared to its $23 high-end twin.
From there, I wait a few minutes for the second coat to dry and then I curl my lashes with my Chanel Eyelash Curler. For years, I’ve only used the curler BEFORE applying mascara, but now that I’ve started using it after… mind=blown. Just be really, really careful after you’ve clamped down on your lashes. If you’re too quick or rough, you might lose some lashes along the process.
So what do you think? Do you have your own trick to achieving longer, fuller lashes?

I followed your technique and I was so happy with the result. Thank you!
The Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara is love. I am wondering where can I get a Chanel Eyelash Curler.
Great post, I gotta try out this technique!
I’m obsessed with the L’oreal Lash Paradise by itself, and I loved the Revlon mascara when I received it from Influenster, so I’m sure together, they’ll make my lashes look fantastic!
Can’t wait to hear what you think! Thank you for reading.
