I really underestimated the newest skincare product launch from Glossier. Scroll down for my complete Glossier Futuredew review!
That ‘lit from within’ glow happens before you put on makeup and it comes in the form of Futuredew.
I’ve been using Glossier Futuredew for a couple weeks now and it’s my newest can’t-live-without product in my day and nighttime routine. Let me tell you why.
I first tried it out in my nighttime skincare routine. The directions indicate this should be applied as the last step in a skincare routine so, after moisturizer. This is a product that looks like a serum, feels like an oil but goes on like a glowy moisturizer that isn’t greasy or sticky. The formula is packed with nourishing oils including jojoba, grapeseed, primrose, and rosehip.
I went to bed and woke up with my skin actually looking normal and healthy! And I make this statement as someone with problematic skin right now. My skin is far from perfect (you can read more about that here) and so I’ve been a little more daring lately to try some products to help me combat the roughness in my skin texture, the somewhat occasional breakouts and combination oily/dry skin type I’m dealing with.
After several nights of applying this before bed, I figured I would try it as a primer in my makeup routine. Total gamechanger.
Yes, highlighter helps. I still love my Haloscope, my Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette, etc., but Futuredew makes all the difference.
The texture of my skin has vastly improved since I started using this. My makeup doesn’t cakey when this is layered under my makeup. Two pumps of this halosocope-y formula makes me look like I’ve consumed 3 gallons of water. You can watch a video of me using Futuredew, plus my other favorite skincare and makeup products over on IGTV.
