Sephora Holiday Sale | What I’m Buying

What I'm Buying During the Sephora Holiday Sale Event | Politics of Pretty

OK—time flies. I can’t believe it’s November already and the Sephora holiday sale event is happening now. It’s one of my favorite sales of the year. It has already started for Rouge Beauty Insiders who get first access and in just a few days, it will be open to VIB and BI members.

Below is a quick breakdown of the tiered discounts and dates for the Sephora holiday sale. The promo code is the same for all tiers, HOLIDAYSAVE (some exclusions apply).

Rouge Members get 20% off, now through 11/11
VIB Members get 15% off, 11/7 through 11/11
BI Members get 10% off, 11/7 through 11/11

I am $280 away from Rouge, the top level of membership and I’m thinking I need to get ahead of my holiday shopping this year so I can experience all the benefits Rouge has to offer in 2020. There are quite a few beauty gift sets that look like a great deal!

There’s only a couple products I need to restock on (conditioner and creamy concealer) but I may splurge on a few items that I’ve been meaning to get and the discount just makes me feel less guilty.

Here’s what I’m thinking of purchasing:

Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks. I tried a sample using my points and decided these eye masks were worth buying with a discount. They don’t slide off your face and not as messy as other eye gel patches.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I’ve been using the NARS Soft Matte Concealer (which I love) but in the winter my complexion is much more dry and switching to a creamy concealer is a must.

Living Proof Full Conditioner. I restocked on the shampoo version back in the spring and now I’m almost empty on the conditioner. I usually like to change up my shampoo/conditioner but this is the first time I restocked on something I really like.

NARS Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight. I’ve been dragging my feet on this one. Turkish Delight is a lip gloss OG shade; however, my old tube smells funky and I’m sure it expired a while ago so it’s time to take the plunge. I’ll keep you posted on how it compares to the old formula.

Clinique Cheek Pop Palette: Cool Down. Do I need anymore blush? Absolutely not! But I’m in love with these cool-toned shades. I peeked at this in store and the only thing I’m not a fan of is the packaging—it’s a chunky glitter texture and it feels cheap.

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter. Ugh, I don’t need any more highlighter but it’s so pretty. I currently only own one lip gloss from Fenty and the highlighter has been on my wish list for a long time.

Pressed Finishing Powder. Haven’t decided on a specific brand or product so now’s the chance for you to let me know what you think I should get! I currently use a mini size of the Laura Mercier setting loose powder but I’m looking for a pressed compact that is travel friendly. I was leaning towards Hourglass or Charlotte Tilbury.

Are you planning to shop during the Sephora holiday sale? Let me know what’s on your wish list in the comments!

I’m linking products I mentioned in this post, as well as some other recommendations!
