Best Glossier Products: Top 10 Essentials for Your Winter Makeup Routine

This post on the best glossier products for a winter makeup look was originally published in January 2021 and updated as of January 2022.

Even though I rarely leave my house, I still enjoy doing my makeup even though I work from home. When I put on makeup, I look more awake and I tend to be more productive. I thought I’d share with you the best Glossier products for a dewy, glowy complexion in the winter featuring all of my favorite products from the brand.

Here is my “full face” of the best Glossier products for my winter minimalist makeup routine:

First I’ll mix a dime size amount of Priming Moisturizer with half a pump of FutureDew (review here) for an ultra hydrated, dewy base. Too much of FutureDew alone can feel really heavy on my skin but mixed with PM, it’s the perfect balance. The oil-serum hybrid feels slightly tacky so makeup will stick better and last longer.

I try to keep my face makeup as light in coverage as possible if I’m running errands (since I’m wearing a mask) and want to prevent mask acne so that’s why I really love Skin Tint (I wear shade G11). Applying Skin Tint helps even out my skin tone and minimize redness.

Next, I’ll apply Stretch Concealer (I wear shade G12) to help brighten my under eyes and any other areas that need a tad more coverage.

Moving on to cheek color, I like mixing two Cloud Paint shades together. I own every shade they have released but lately I’ve been mixing Puff and Dusk together for a natural flush and then blending it out with my fingers.

For a little extra dew, I’ll take Haloscope in Moonstone and swipe on the bridge of my nose, under my brow bone and high points of my cheek. It really does make all the difference!

A light dusting of Wowder (I wear shade G11-G12) will help mattify the areas I don’t want to look shiny and set my makeup.

When it comes to my brows, my routine is one and done. I’ll just apply a couple of coats of Boy Brow to define and groom them into place.

I love that Glossier has multiple eyeshadow options. When I’m in the mood for a glowy eye makeup look I’ll reach for Lidstar in Cub (review here), a luminous rose gold. Monochromes is also my go-to for an easy peasy eye makeup routine (review here). I love the concept behind it – one shade that comes in three different finishes, so there’s no need to figure to feel overwhelmed. I’ve collected quite a few of them but the shades I reach for most often are Almond (a rosy brown), Bluff (a peachy pink) and Jute (a subtle taupe).

Lash Slick is a great everyday mascara. I love how it separates and lengthens my lashes so my eyes appear bigger.

Lastly, to keep my lips looking plump and hydrated I’ll apply Balm Dotcom. I really love the limited edition flavors but Rose has always been a long-time favorite. Alternatively, when I’m hosting video conference calls, I’ll apply Ultralip in Villa (a dusty rose).
