What’s in My Beauty Box 5 + Superlatives

I recently began a new partnership with Beauty Box 5. For those of you that aren’t familiar, BB5 is a monthly subscription service that delivers five cosmetic samples to your door for $12 per month. I used to have a subscription to Birchbox and while there were some great finds and not-so-great discoveries, it was still a fun experience to get a monthly box with beauty goodies (as if I need anymore though). Rather than just your typical beauty product review, I thought I’d do something different. Welcome, beauty box superlatives. In a few sentences I’ll break down if it’s the best beauty investment ever or if you can do without.

Beauty Box 5

Best facial cleansing wipe you’ll want to use after a night on the town: La Fresh Travel Lite Facial Cleansing Wipes. I travel to my boyfriend’s house almost every weekend so that’s just one reason I love these wipes. The other night I had more makeup on than usual and just one of these wipes did the trick.

Best cheap glitter top coat: Nubar Alter Ego Nail Lacquer in Blondie. Deborah Lippmann is my go-to for glitter polishes but this one is pretty decent if you’re on a budget.

The lotion you want to keep in your purse this winter: Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. The best part about this lotion was the sample size itself. I wasn’t really excited about it otherwise.

The toe separators you’ll re-gift to you 12-year-old sister/cousin/niece: Swissco Glitter Toe Separators. I rarely paint my own toe nails so I doubt I’ll ever use these, but they’re cute!

Best secret weapon for fuller lips: ModelCo Lip Enhancer Illusion Nude Lip Liner. This was my favorite discovery out of the whole box (and yes, I totally saved the best for last). I’ve been wearing it under every lipstick to help keep my pout in place.

Have you tried any of these products?

Beauty Box 5 gifted me with a complimentary subscription for review purposes. All opinions in this post are my own.
