Sephora Spring Sale: Dates, Discount Codes & Recommendations

Sharing my everyday makeup, skincare and clean beauty recommendations for the Sephora spring sale

The Sephora spring sale is going on now! If you have Rouge status with Sephora, you have first access to the sale. Plus, Sephora is giving Rouge members the ability to “bring a plus one” to early access.

I’ve rounded up my top 10 everyday makeup and skincare products for this post. The Sephora Sale may be a good time to treat yourself, try a new product you’ve been eyeing or restock on old favorites.

This is also a PSA not to overspend. It’s really easy to get swept up in the hype and convince yourself you’re missing out on some holy grail product but the bottom line is, the product will always be there.

If you want more beauty recommendations, you can read past Sephora sale beauty picks here.

What is the Sephora Spring Sale?

A couple times a year, Sephora offers a site wide discount for Beauty Insider members. The discount percentages vary between membership levels but essentially, the more you spend at Sephora during the calendar year, then the more you save.

If you are not currently a Beauty Insider member, then you can sign up here. It’s completely free to join and you’ll qualify for the 10% discount. There are more benefits to becoming a member that you can check out below.

Below is a quick breakdown of the tiered discounts and dates for the Sephora spring sale. The promo code is the same for all members: use code YAYSAVE.

Rouge Members get 20% off, 4/5 through 4/14
VIB Members get 15% off 4/9 through 4/15
BI Members get 10% off, 4/9 through 4/15

Makeup and Skincare Picks to Shop during the Sephora Sale

Skincare

The Inkey List Succinic Acid Acne Treatment: This is my go-to for my hormonal acne breakouts. You can apply it up to three times a day but I found that just using it once on clean skin before bed significantly reduces its appearance by morning.

Makeup by Mario Perfecting Lip Scrub: This is my favorite lip scrub, mostly because I don’t have to dig my fingers into a jar. I use this 2-3x per week before applying lipstick and I think it’s gentle enough that it doesn’t irritate my skin but effective that my lips are much more smooth and less flaky.

Kosas DreamBeam SPF 40: ‘Tis the season for sunscreen; well, it’s always the season for sunscreen but especially now. This formula has just the right amount of tackiness so it layer well under makeup.

Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer: I have a travel size version of this two-in-one skincare product. It’s both reasonable and price and perfect for keeping skin refreshed and hydrated during the spring and summer months.

Necessaire Body Lotion: This unscented lotion has saved my dry skin! If you have sensitive skin, this is a must-have all year round.

Makeup

Tower 28 MakeWaves Lengthening + Volumizing Mascara: I finally found a brown mascara that does it all. The wand is slightly curved, making it easy to apply for my almond shaped eyes. Without mascara, my lashes look puny and short so the lengthening and volume really does make a difference.

Merit Flush Balm Cream Blush: A cream blush for the low key makeup minimalist who wants a natural looking flush. Easy to apply with fingers or brush and available in eight shades. Cheeky and Beverly Hills are my two favorites.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter: I finally splurged on this during the last Sephora sale and I’ll admit it, I get the hype. I have less and less desire to wear foundation and this formula feels so lightweight but gives my complexion a soft glow and evens out my skin tone. I prefer this over a myriad of other skin tints I’ve tried simply because it doesn’t irritate or cause breakouts for my sensitive skin.

Makeup by Mario Skin Enhancer: It’s one of the few bronzers that I’ve hit pan on. It’s a creamy formula with a radiant finish. It adds just the right amount of natural warmth to my face and looks good alone or layered with blush.

Glossier Lidstar: I’ll always be a one-and-done eyeshadow type of girl. For spring vibes I really love wearing Lidstar in Lily (lilac)  and Cub (a warm rose gold) during the spring months.

Here’s what I purchased during the sale:

Kosas DreamBeam in Sunlit (a new, bronzy shade)
Necessaire Body Lotion (My 3rd restock)
Merit Signature Matte Lipstick (been wanting to try the shades Power and Sunday)
Stila Liquid Eye Liner in Dark Brown
Tower 28 Mascara (the new brown shade is my holy grail)
Sol de Janeiro Shower Cream-Gel (emptied my current body wash and opted for something new)
