I got some great feedback on my fall lipstick ranking so I figured I’d make a comeback with a new theme in mind. Soft pinks, pinky nudes, mauve lipsticks and glosses… call it what you want… but these shades have pretty much ruled my on-the-go makeup pouch for quite some time. #6 Le Metier de Beaute Lip Crème, Sweet Creme: A soft pink lip gloss that smells like sugar and very lightweight on the lips—but super sticky, hence the low ranking.
#5 Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Hot Lacquer Lip Gloss, Too Cute: A full coverage mauve gloss with high shine. I’m obsessed with how opaque this gloss is, but I also love the even application. However, it does wear off easily.
#4 LORAC Mod Goddess PRO Liquid Lipstick, Soft Pink: This is a mauve liquid lipstick that dries to a matte finish. I’m really impressed by its staying power and it’s a true mauvy shade for those moody “in between” days. The brand sent me a lip duo which is how I discovered this shade. Right now it’s marked down to $15 on Ulta!
#3 ColourPop Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick, Dopey: A mauve lipstick with a purple undertone and satin-matte finish. This formula feels so comfortable on my lips, although it’s not transferproof. It was my first ColourPop purchase and now I’m addicted to their makeup!
#2 Bobbi Brown Brightening Lip Gloss, Nectar: Can someone please tell me why the brand discontinued this shade? This is a great non-sticky lip gloss but good luck finding this online! Going to hang on to this for every last drop.
#1 NARS Lip Gloss, Turkish Delight: A pink sherbet with a high shine finish. This is an OG shade for sure (you can tell by the packaging). I recently found it while rummaging through an old handbag and put it on my lips immediately! I know I usually reach for liquid lipsticks, but this is my favorite lip gloss of all time.
