I’m on a mission to explore more beauty brands I haven’t tried before. I’m kind of shocked myself that Honest Beauty is on the list, considering all the great word of mouth recommendations I’ve heard. I’m excited to share with you my honest thoughts on each one (no pun intended).
Truly Kissable Lip Kit: With Christmas right around the corner, I couldn’t think of a better beauty gift set to give (or get). This lip kit includes two lip crayons (a sheer fuchsia pink and a soft nude) and a Magic Balm, a soothing all-purpose balm with organic fruit and botanical oils. I keep the balm in my makeup pouch and it’s turned out to be my most used product throughout the day. I use it to moisturize my lips and any other dry spots as well as a multi-purpose highlighter.
Truly Lush Mascara + Lash Primer: I’m currently still wearing eyelash extensions so I haven’t been able to put this tube to the test. However, I have been using it on my lower lash line and haven’t run into any issues.
Falling For You Cheek Palette: I was initially drawn to the bright pop of color but I found myself using the powder illuminator daily. The two cream blushes work for day or night, and I’ll dust the powder illuminator on my cheek bones and forehead. This is a limited edition palette so if you’re on the hunt for a day-to-night cheek palette, make sure you scoop this up soon!
True Velvet Eyeliner: These eye pencils remind me of Clinique packaging (which of course isn’t a bad thing since I grew up using Clinique makeup). I love how creamy these pencils are and how smooth they apply. I’ve been reaching for these since I got eyelash extensions because I’m avoiding liquid liner. I’ll be wearing Truly Gold through the holiday season! It also comes in black, brown, purple, blue, and nude.
Honest Beauty graciously gifted me with the products featured in this post. All opinions are my own.
