I noticed in my ongoing makeup diaries I fail to feature my favorite hair products so I thought I’d dedicate today’s post to five styling & setting hairsprays I’m loving right now.

Aveda Pure Abundance Style Prep—I totally bought this on a whim at a Nordstrom Beauty Trend Event thinking it would just collect dust on in my beauty cabinet. Boy, was I wrong. I use this on days when I blow dry my hair. I liberally spray this on damp hair at the roots so post blow dry, I have more voluminous hair.

Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray—I found this sample size version in the checkout aisle at Ulta and I heard good reviews so I wanted to test-drive it myself. As much as I love my Bumble and Bumble Surf, this drugstore option comes pretty damn close. I use this when my hair is damp or dry.

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish—This may sound crazy but I prefer this to regular dry shampoo. It’s a translucent dry spray (so you can avoid that awkward powder residue that makes it look like you have dandruff) and it leaves a lightweight airy finish and pretty perfume scent. To help prolong second or third day hair, this is the perfect pick-me-up. I’m nearing an empty can so I’ve already stocked up another full-size spray.

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray—This setting spray has a more moderate hold than the Dryspun Finish. I find myself using this on hot and humid days to help control flyaways.

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Leave-in Conditioning Mist Coconut Milk—All summer I’ve been craving coconut. This post-shower conditioning mist is my go-to for detangling and protecting my tresses. It smells divine.
