2012 Year-End Purchases

PoP_New

My year-end purchases:
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, $19.50.
NARS Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, $24.
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Roman Holiday, $24.
Bumble and Bumble White Hair Powder, $19.

Hand me a gift card to my favorite beauty boutique, Bluemercury, and chances are I’ll blow it in 30 minutes or less. And that’s (almost) exactly what I did on Friday (with about $60 to spare). With a never-ending rotating routine of beauty products, somehow, I only end up wanting more. I heard good things about Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray and after realizing my hair falls flat on day two, I figured this would help perk up my ‘do. Next on my beauty shopping list: eye primer. My usual go-to has always been Laura Mercier Eye Basics but I thought I’d try something different so I ended up buying NARS Pro-Prime Eyeshadow Base. Which then reminded me that NARS makes quite possibly, the best line of lip products… ever. So I treated myself to NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Roman Holiday, a true pink (which I may or may not have also bought because it’s named after my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie). And finally, a new dry shampoo: Bumble and Bumble’s White Hair Powder spray, a true dry shampoo that leaves my hair feeling fresh. And that my dear readers, are my last purchases of 2012 (not including booze and other life necessities). Wishing you and yours a happy New Year!
