2013 Beauty Resolutions

Photo via Sephora I hope 2013 is off to a fabulous start for everyone! You’ll have to bare with me, I usually don’t make resolutions. For the longest time I used to come up with these qualitative goals that I would end up forgetting about later and for the last two years, I was a bit of a New Year resolution scrooge. But with a less-than-a-year-old beauty blog, I was inspired by some of my favorite long-time beauty blogs (The Glossarie, Into The Gloss, the Sephora Glossy) to give this resolution thing a try again.

1. Incorporate never-tried-before beauty brands in to my makeup routine (like Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, above).

2. Apply eye cream… every. single. night.

3. Invest in a complete set of quality makeup brushes.

4. And on that note, clean my makeup brushes as often as my bras.

5. Perfect the winged eyeliner look. (Already underway! I just purchased Lauren Conrad’s Beauty book)

6. Treat myself to one spa treatment this year.

7. Attempt at least one DIY nail art tutorial.

8. Turn my cluttered stash of beauty products and samples in to an organized Vogue-like beauty closet.

9. Learn how to properly curl my hair (don’t worry, I won’t blame you have second thoughts about bookmarking this blog)

10. Drink more water.

Here’s to a fabulous 2013!
