On Saturday, I played beauty emcee/host at Bloomingdale’s first-ever, The Makeup Date Beauty Event; a beauty trend show and makeover madness soiree. Over 200 RSVPd so I was just a tad bit nervous when I found out I’d be speaking in front of so many women!
Skincare and makeup experts (think Estee Lauder, La Mer, Laura Mercier, NARS, Clinique, and a bevy of other brands) spoke on stage about the latest trends and must-have products with three models showcasing an office, day to night and weekend look. I had a blast chatting it up with beauty junkies and newbies alike following the show.

Gorgeous lipsticks at the Laura Mercier counter. Laura Mercier rep, Nina, did my makeup before I stepped on stage. I had a gorgeous glow, turquoise eye and coral lip thanks to her sweet makeup artist skills.
Guests were treated to one-on-one makeup consultations following the beauty trend show. What’s more fun than spending your Saturday getting pampered at the Chanel counter?
