Laura Mercier makeup is known for the “flawless face,” French aesthetic, and makeup artistry techniques, and it’s one of my favorite luxury makeup brands.
For me, warmer weather means a “less is more” makeup routine. I need products that stay in place and last all day. Laura Mercier has completely transformed my easy, everyday routine. I’m excited to share with you the best Laura Mercier makeup for the everyday minimalist.
The Laura Mercier PR team graciously gifted me some of the products mentioned in this blog post. As always, opinions are my own.
Pure Canvas Primer Blurring
What I love about the Pure Canvas Primer is that it’s a non-silicone primer and still grips on to makeup really well. It keeps my face from getting too oily or greasy looking, which is a must during the summer months!
Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector
I hate wearing foundation in the summertime but I still want something with some sheer coverage and will even out my skin tone. This tinted moisturizer has a natural finish so it won’t make my skin look greasy or flat. Paired with the primer, it’s the perfect combo for a natural looking complexion. I wear the shade 1C0 Cameo, which works for my neutral leaning cool undertone.
Translucent Loose Setting Powder
This is an award winning setting powder for a reason. I’ve tried tons of setting powders and somehow I always come back to this. Never cakey, zero texture and blurs large pores. For the summer season, this is a must-have for me! My skin leans more oily in the warmer months and prevents any extra shine.
Matte Radiance Baked Powder
Laura Mercier did not gift me a blush but they did send me a beautiful powder bronzer in the lightest shade, Golden Nude. In the summertime, I don’t always wear blush and sometimes opt for just bronzer because it’s a quick and easy way to give a natural hint of color.
Eye Basics Primer
This is my favorite eye primer. It’s one of the few makeup products I repurchase again and again because it’s the only eye primer that covers the discoloration on my lids and controls the excess oil on my lids. I wear the shade Linen.
Caviar Stick Eye Color
I own multiple shades of these Caviar Eye Sticks and these are great for “one and done” eyeshadow looks. The LM team gifted me the shade Ginger (a light neutral matte peach), but I previously own and use Amethyst (soft mauve with a subtle shimmer) and Au Naturel (matte pink gray). I like to just use my finger to blend these out but a fluffy brush also helps with diffusing color around the crease. I love that these eye sticks really do stay in place all day.
Rouge Essential Lipstick
I’ll be honest, I don’t wear lipstick often. I find most formulas are heavy, difficult to apply and require some level of effort that I just don’t always have time for. What I like about this cream lipstick is that it feels lightweight on my lips and this particular shade, Nu Prefere, filled in all my lips lines to make them actually look full and luscious. It’s extremely moisturizing and comfortable to wear all day too. It felt more like a highly pigmented lip balm rather than lipstick and I love that!
