The 4 Best Glow Getters in My Makeup Bag

The 4 best glow getters in my makeup bag

If you asked me 5 years ago the one makeup product I could never without, then my answer would’ve been mascara. Today? Highlighter. One thousand percent. Here are my four best glow getters currently in my makeup bag.

Glossier Haloscope in Quartz: This $22 tube of dew may be a hefty price tag for some but personally, I think it’s worth every penny. Out of all my highlighters, I use this the most. I apply them to my cheekbones, brow bone, cupid’s bow and the inner corner of my eyes. I’m pretty sure I’m on the last leg of this tube so I’ll definitely be restocking in the near future.

L’Oreal Lumi Glotion in Fair: This is the newest addition to my glow getter collection and I’m very impressed with the formula. I’m not a big fan of liquid highlighters but this drugstore newbie is the exception. It’s not sparkly and I love that you can wear it alone or mix it with foundation or tinted moisturizer.

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter in Flexitarian: It’s no secret I’m obsessed with ColourPop’s Super Shock formula—the bouncy texture is just divine. This highlighter is an intense white champagne—perfect for my pale skin. And it’s only $8.

Rimmel London Sculpting Palette in Golden Sands: Another drugstore gem that’s also great for on-the-go touchups. If you want a more detailed review of the bronzer and blush, check out a previous post here. The top pan is a powder highlighter with a subtle shimmer, making it an ideal choice for my 9 to 5. I also like to apply this as setting powder under my eyes.

I’d love to know, what are your favorite glow getters?
