Last week was the best week of my life this year. Thus making this week extremely stressful and overwhelming. I move in with my fiancé tomorrow and we basically have no furniture except a queen bed, two end tables, one floor lamp and some kitchen essentials. I’ve been on Pinterest 24/7 this week looking at home decor ideas (in the words of Carrie Bradshaw, “I’ve been cheating on fashion with furniture.”) As overwhelming as it is to worry about renter’s insurance, setting up Comcast, etc., these wise words, “strive for progress, not perfection,” I found on Pinterest reminded me to just slow my roll. #AdultProblems

My boyfriend I just moved into our first place together this month and I can totally relate to the whole having nothing and wanting everything feeling. Everyone keeps telling me that these things will come in time and your house isn’t supposed to be perfect right away but it’s hard to wait!
I’m not sure if you have a World Market where you are but I absolutely LOVE that store. Everything is super reasonable and they have amazing decor pieces.
