Let’s talk about bad beauty habits. I’ll start—I always go to bed much later than I actually should. And unfortunately, I’m facing some pretty dark consequences.
While I would love to tell you that losing beauty sleep has no effect on my face, the truth is that my under eyes cannot tell a lie. Concealer cannot disguise my dark circles!
In an effort to get my much needed beauty rest back on track, I’ve invested more time in my skincare routine. I recently shared the right way to layer your skincare products. Today, I’m talking about #5: eye cream.
I haven’t been particularly loyal to any brand of eye cream up until I was introduced to A Complete, a skincare company specifically for women with a fast-paced schedule. Seriously, they must have made this skincare company with me and every other metropolitan woman in mind.
They sent me their Youth Preserve Eye Contour Cream, specifically formulated to treat eye contour imperfections such as dark circles and eye bags. Yes, you read that right. This cream will even help decongest and contribute optical draining if you have bags under your eyes. Granted, dealing with puffy eyes isn’t something I deal with often, but dark circles plague my everyday insecurities.
Think of this as the equivalent of a power smoothie for your eyes. Personally, I love how quickly this product absorbs into my skin, especially in the morning as it smoothes the way for makeup. A little goes a long way, (I apply a pea size amount) as I use my ring fingers to gently pat onto my skin starting inside and working my way out.
This eye cream is infused with active ingredients you’ll appreciate. A blend of leaf extracts boost and protect the structural elements that maintain the integrity of the skin (think collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid). Peptide Solution C works to help less wrinkles and expression lines. Plankton extract is the star ingredients to help reduce eye bag volume.
