It’s been quite the glamourous morning for me! I modeled for a NYE fashion segment that aired live this morning on WUSA9 News. Carine Krawiec, owner of the chic bridal boutique Carine’s Bridal Atelier, pulled some fab New Year’s Eve looks from local boutiques that myself and four other fab DC bloggers (Lara, Felice, Johnna, and Shuntel), modeled in the studio for viewers who are on the hunt for some outfit ideas. The not so glamorous part: waking up at 3:45am! Lucky for me, I spent most of my morning being pampered at Karma Beauty Lounge, getting my makeup and hair done before the segment. With Peggy Ioakim (sidenote: I’ve known her for years because she used to cut my hair when I was a kid), who did my hair before the segment and Erwin Gomez. Peggy did a pretty high pony tail with loose curls for my NYE look.
In the WUSA9 newsroom with Carine, who pulled my NYE look from Urban Chic. I was obsessed with my Shoshanna white one shoulder dress and gold cardigan, not to mention the Dalton Pratt bracelets, earrings and clutch.
