Deborah Lippmann’s Drugstore Doppelganger: Pure Ice Nail Polish

Pure Ice nail polish

After a weekend of dining, shopping and gambling (and more shopping after that), instead of being productive and planning out my blog posts for the week, I opted for the lazy route and did what any beauty blogger would do on their day off. I gave myself a DIY mani using Pure Ice nail polish.

Lately I’ve been opting for pastel hues or bright neon shades, so when I received samples of the summer nail collection, I instantly removed my previous chipped polish and opted for “Fairy Godmother,” a pretty orchid cream purple. These drugstore polishes are free of formaldehyde, toluene and DBP and are less than $2 a pop (how’s that for nail junkies on a budget?). The summer collection boasts fun, bright candy color hues in creamy and glitter finishes. Consider it the drugstore doppelgänger to the luxe Deborah Lippmann line. Happy Mani Monday!
