This is the first time not attending New York Fashion Week in about four years. While it’s always been a privilege to go, I had some commitments at home. It is kind of nice to be taking it all in from the comfort of my recliner. Backstage beauty recaps have been invading my inbox and I’m excited to share a few of my favorite looks. The pale blue nails at Costello Tagliapietra caught my eye immediately. While I have an appreciation for one-of-a-kind nail art, I prefer simple monochrome nail looks. It’s timeless, effortless and chic. Julie Kandalec for Essie layered Bikini So Teeny and Limo-Scene for a romantic and nostalgic look for the designer’s collection inspired by cinematic photography of the 1980s. Like I said, it’s nothing crazy but it’s totally attainable and easy to recreate at home. What do you think?
Here’s how you can get this easy look for your digits:
- Apply Ridge Filling Base Coat to clean, filed nails.
- Once the base coat dries, apply two coats of Bikini So Teeny.
- Next, apply one heavy coat of Limo-Scene (expert tip: applying a single, heavier coat of polish will help eliminate streaking).
- Follow with Good to Go top coat.
What a beautiful shade! I love bikini so tiny but wish it was more subtle so this is perfect!!
Hope you had a great weekend Kara!

I love bikini so teeny too! If I had learned this trick earlier, I totally would have purchased this sooner. xo
That shade is fantastic – for pale colors it’s always pink, green or purple for me, so this blue is such a nice change, and not the typical Robin’s egg color I’ve sported a bit. Hope you had a great time!
Glad you like it! Thanks for reading!!
Love Bikini So Teeny! Thinking of wearing it at my wedding next year 🙂
