If there’s one particular color I can never get enough of, it’s olive green. It’s one of my favorite colors. Whether it’s in the form of eyeliner or my crossbody bag, olive has become my new neutral.
Olive green could be a great neutral for you too. It pairs well with patterns—especially in the summertime. Black clothing gives me a heatstroke in the summer but dark green keeps me cool while still maintaining a more edgy and polished look.
I picked up this olive green sheer midi dress from Express earlier this summer and I swear, I wear this almost every single weekend. Oh, and it’s currently on sale! As I head to the beach for much needed summer vacation with my husband this week, I’m excited to throw this in my suitcase. Because let’s be real—I’m probably going to wear this all week long.
I also love wearing olive green eyeliner. This one by Revlon works well when I’m in the mood for a smudgy lived-in look.
My most recent olive green purchase was this Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag (unfortunately sold out, similar here). It’s one of the few treasures I found through the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (which is now public and going on now through August 6th).
