What happens when an avant-garde Parisian shoe designer meets a luxury and color adventurous beauty brand? They create the ultimate spring/summer beauty collaboration: six pairs of nail polish and two blushes. The Pierre Hardy for NARS collection is now available online, and my nails couldn’t be happier!
The polish pairs and blush hues are inspired by Hardy’s summer 2013 shoe designs, featuring cool color combos and patterns. I was smitten with their idea of packaging polishes in pairs wrapped in mini shoeboxes. Below, I coated my fingers in Pierre Hardy for NARS “Sharks” pairing, two sweet shades of yellow and lavender. Since I’m a DIY nail art failure, I decided to color block my nails the “old fashioned way.” Check out the complete collection here.
