On Saturday, my nearest and dearest came out to celebrate the launch of Politics of Pretty. My beauty sanctuary, Neiman Marcus hosted the soiree, serving up guests with mimosas [read: many] and makeovers.
The girls got tutorials from Le Métier de Beauté, Chantecaille and Laura Mercier before embarking on makeovers all of the above and other beloved brands.
DC Scout Editor, Dominique Vu, getting her makeup done by product specialist, Michael Reinhardt of Le Métier de Beauté.
Gorgeous Politics of Pretty readers: Brittany Dortch, Zandra Devine and Courtney Hammond.
The beautiful lady who planned my amazing event, Liberty Jones. There are not enough mascaras in the world to thank you.
I alternated between makeup and the mimosas. Laura Mercier’s sweet spring palette.
National Makeup Artist Ivan Castro chatted with guests about Le Métier de Beauté’s latest products and must-haves.
