June Beauty Box 5 Review

Another month, another beauty box! I love opening my Beauty Box 5 during the summer months. It’s like Christmas in June. For those of you that aren’t familiar, Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription service that delivers five cosmetic samples to your door for $12 per month. If you’re overwhelmed when you shop for beauty products (or don’t have the time), a beauty box subscription is an easy and affordable solution. I’m sharing with you my June Beauty Box 5 review PLUS I’ve got the deets on how you can score a free box for yourself.

June Beauty Box 5 Review - Politics of Pretty

Nicka K New York Nail Color—I’m a huge nail polish junkie but this rich jungle red is something I’d rather save for the fall and winter months.

Organix Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner—I love testing new hair products and this affordable shampoo and conditioner from Organix is no disappointment. After two uses of this formula, it left me hair feeling smooth and silky (and even added some body) without the heavy residue.

Glam Natural Mascara—As a contact lens wearer, testing new eye makeup can be a challenge. Usually hypoallergenic products lack in effectiveness for me but I was pretty impressed by this tube that lifts lashes using a vegan, gluten-free and paraben-free formula.

Eslor Introductory Collection Calming Kit—I haven’t opened this sample yet because I’m saving it for my trip to the beach. It’s a paraben-free kit that includes Eslor’s all-star products: a soothing refiner and cleanser, replenishing scrub, mask, and hydrating cream.

Vita Bath Body Wash—I usually cringe when I eat too much frosting with my cake so this body wash in Dreamy Pink Frosting is no different. It’s extremely sweet so make sure you sniff in small doses.
