Recently fall beauty collections have started arriving at my doorstep and normally, I try and hold on to every last bit of summer for as long as possible. But then I realize, I’m standing outside in what feels like a sauna and quickly come to my senses that I can’t help but look forward to cooler temperatures (and new makeup arrivals!). Enter: bareMinerals ‘Power Neutrals’ fall collection.
A complete 180 from its colorful spring Remix collection, bareMinerals has released its limited-edition Power Neutrals collection, a sophisticated ladylike makeup collection that boasts a seductive neutral eye palette, blush, lipstick, lip gloss and mascara. Packaged in sleek gold casing and accents, you can’t help but feel like a million bucks when you apply their Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Super Power (a soft peachy nude with a satin smooth finish). Seriously, that lip gloss could go with any outfit. Their all over face color, Ready Color Boost in Adrenaline Rush, offers a pretty medley of golden ivory, natural matte pink and rosewood.
Best bets: The Ready Eyeshadow 8.0 Palette, packed with eight sultry neutral hues that you can wear in the boardroom or the bedroom. Usually I always find myself only using two or three colors in a palette but since I’ve received this sample, I’ve used each shade at least once (and in many combinations). I’ve also added their Lash Domination to my mascara arsenal—the spiral wand is a miracle worker for my limp uncurled lashes (and it’s easy to remove at night).
