Ask Kara: Pedi Please

Dear DCShopGirl,

Where’s the best place to get a pedicure without breaking the bank?

-Pedi Decisions

When I need a pedi, I head to Sandy Nails ($26, see Trang or Holly) in Bethesda. I’ve been going to Sandy Nails for years, mainly because the customer service is great, it’s a clean environment and they always have the latest season of nail laquers. Regardless of price, it’s important you go to a salon that uses new pedicure tools every time and their pedicure chairs are pipeless (meaning no room for bacteria or fungi to hide). Bottom line- treat your feet. It’s worth the splurge.
