I tend to daydream about this utterly sweet and romantic moment with my boyfriend: we’re sitting on a bench and he places his hand around my face. Just as he’s about to kiss me, he starts to caress my hair… and then he stops. He stops because he can’t. No, not because he’s having a change of heart… because he physically can’t run his fingers through my hair. It’s those damn tangles. Suddenly this daydream has become my haircare nightmare.
I have naturally straight/wavy hair and during the warm weather months, I tend to lay off the blowdryer and scrunch my locks for the “beachy waves” effect. I love that relaxed look but unfortunately I can’t really enjoy it without having to deal with tangles.
