5 Skincare Products I’m Obsessed With

5 skincare products for fall

The past few weeks have been pretty rough for me—between the anxiety of looking for a new job, injuring my back, and dealing with a never-ending cold, it seems as though my bad luck streak continues.

On the bright side, I have much more time on my hands to dedicate to a fool-proof skincare routine.  Sticking to a daily beauty routine has been therapeutic for me. I’ve been careful about incorporating new products because unlike my life, my skin is pretty happy right now.

Here are 5 skincare products I’m loving right now.

Saturday Skin Daily Dew Hydrating Essence Mist: I purchased this during the Sephora sale and so far my skin is loving this. I’ve been spritzing this in the morning before I put on makeup and refreshing throughout the day. The mist is designed to fight dryness and dullness, which seems to be working because my skin always feels fresh and looks dewy. The packaging reminds me of Glossier so it looks great on my vanity too.

Alchimie Forever Protective Day Cream SPF 23: I know there’s a huge emphasis on wearing SPF in the summer but that shouldn’t change for the colder seasons. I usually wear this alone or under makeup before I go out to run errands. You should know I am very picky about my facial sunscreen. This one isn’t sticky, thick or smelly. Literally just feels like a moisturizer with the added bonus of SPF.

Caudalie Overnight Detox Oil: This is my favorite overnight oil of all time. I apply 5-6 drops on my hands, mesh them together and then press onto my face so my skin can soak up all the product. It’s a dry oil, so it doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy and sinks it fairly quickly. It has a herbal scent that I’ve grown to love and it keeps my skin clear.

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet: You’ve heard me talk about this moisturizer before because I used this every night in the summer. This moisturizer will definitely work through the fall months as well. I like to layer this on top of the detox oil before I go to bed. When I wake up in the morning, my skin looks glowy and dewy. I wish this would last me into the winter but unfortunately it’s not thick/heavy enough for the winter months. I’ll have to make the switch eventually.

Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Gel Moisturizer: This moisturizer was sent to me by Origins a few weeks ago. On days when I don’t feel like wearing any makeup, I opt for this lightweight oil-free moisturizer. Out of all the products in this post, this is the newest one I’ve incorporated into my routine. This formula contains coffee bean which is supposed to “wake up” tired skin. I love the smell and the texture, and it feels good on my skin.
