You’re Invited: The Front Row

It may not be under a tent at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week, but the annual Bethesda Front Row is still a ‘mark your calendar’ worthy event for all local style setters. The event returns May 17th-19th and we’ve got your agenda for the three-day fashion spree:

Thursday kicks off with a special screening of the fashion doc, God Save My Shoes, perfect for anyone who loves their Manolos or drools over Louboutins on a daily basis. After the film, there’s a Q&A with film producer Thierry Daher, hosted by the only person I know who can rock five-inch Brian Attwood pumps from 9 to 5, Washingtonian Magazine‘s Fashion Editor Kate Bennett. First-come, first serve, Bethesda Row Landmark Theatre, 7:30 PM, 7235 Woodmont Ave., RSVP shoes@brandlinkdcrsvp.com

All eyes will be on Bethesda’s signature event, The Front Row Fashion Show showcasing Summer ’12 and a sneak peak at Fall ’12 collections with VIP guest Andy Cohen. But before we go there, treat yourself to the Aveda Lip and Eye Bar, enjoy mini-massages from The Spa at Equinox or create your own floral fascinators at the exclusive H.Bloom Floral Accessories Bar. The Watch What Happens Live host will also sign copies of his new book, Most Talkative outside of Redwood before the show. Stick around after the runway for a little rendevous with your favorite Bethesda boutiques for extended shopping until 9 PM. Book Signing at 5 PM; Runway Event at 7:30 PM; Bethesda Lane

Chicks with kids: Special offers, brunches and family-friendly events reign all day long Saturday on the Row. Need we say more? 11 AM-2 PM on Bethesda Lane
