Skincare Meets Makeup: Hello FAB Collection + Review

First Aid Beauty Hello FAB

Call me obsessed, but I love First Aid Beauty’s new Hello Fab collection—fusing skincare with makeup to produce four new fuss-free products. Inspired by athleisure, each product is packed with nourishing superfoods so you can enhance the appearance of your skin over time. Usually I can easily classify if a product is makeup or skincare but even as I type this I’m struggling to categorize this Hello FAB collection…

Caffeine Matcha Wake Up Wipes is exactly what I need on those mornings when I can barely keep my eyes open. It’s formulated with antioxidant matcha tea, skin brightening vitamin C, soothing aloe vera, and energizing caffeine—like a cup of coffee for your entire face!

You’ve heard me talk about the Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer in a previous post but I seriously can’t get enough of this two-in-one moisturizer and makeup primer. I love the dewy finish it gives me (thanks to the light reflecting micro-pearls) so much so, that I can wear it alone and not feel self-conscious about not wearing foundation or tinted moisturizer.

The 3-in-1 Superfruit Color Correcting Cushion is an easy one-step quick color correcting fix. On days when my complexion is red and blotchy, I know I can rely on this compact to reduce any redness and even out my complexion. It’s blended with superfruit extract (think dragon fruit, kiwi and blueberry) to help soothe and nourish. The sponge applicator sits in its own separate compartment and is perfect for applying and using the “pounce” method (Press + bounce = pounce).

I’ve never really seen the investment in makeup setting sprays until I tried this Vital Greens Face Mist. Revitalizing green superfoods—including kale and spinach—helps refresh, cool and prep me for the long work day ahead. I also keep this in my gym bag so I can spritz this before and after a workout—it’s super refreshing!

As I mentioned earlier, I’m a huge fan of this brand and there are a bevy of other products I use as well in my skincare routine. Check them out below!
