The change of seasons has me feeling hopeful. Even though 2020 has been one big 404 error, the shift in weather is a reminder that time hasn’t stopped (even though it sure felt like it at times). Autumn is my favorite season because the weather is cooler; which means cozy apparel, apple cider donuts and cute fall makeup looks.

Under Eye Serum
This pandemic has me much more tired than usual and so waking up in the morning has never been more difficult. This de-puffing eye serum from Clinique is just the perfect morning pick-me-up. The rollerball application is like a mini massage for my under eye area while it works to roll away puffiness and decrease the appearance of fatigue.
Fall Eyeshadow Palettes
Since a mask covers up half my face, I’ve been putting in more effort into my eye makeup. Pixi sent me the new Eye Effects collection, which includes two beautiful eyeshadow palettes. The Rosette Ray palette is filled with some gorgeous berry tones and packed with high pigment. I like that this palette is truly compact and the packaging is sturdy and comes with a large mirror.
New Tools
I usually avoid limited edition brush sets but this one from Real Techniques was just too good to pass up. I picked up all the essential eye brushes, plus a cute sparkly gold pouch for $20. The brushes are high quality, easy to clean and they pick up powder and blend so well.
Cream Blush
I’m always a little skeptical about celebrity beauty brands but after watching so many YouTube reviews, I was influenced to try some products from Selena Gomez’s new line, Rare Beauty. I purchased the liquid blush in the shade Bliss, a matte nude pink, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the pigmentation and how easy it is to blend. I may need to scoop up another shade but I’m going to try and hold off until the next Sephora sale (which should be soon, right?).
Glossier Merch
Glossier just launched some limited edition merch that I could not pass up. I absolutely love my Glossier pink hoodie that I purchased last year (wore it almost every day last winter) and earlier this month they released the Terrazzo Hoodie in a cute, speckled pattern that’s just as plush as the original.
