Between my full-time job and wedding planning, I’ve missed out on New York Fashion Week for the last year or so. I miss the chaos of being backstage and the front row celebrity sightings. But then I remind myself of the blisters from wearing uncomfortable heels all over the city. For the last few seasons, I’ve been enjoying watching my favorite shows from the comfort of my laptop. Plus, my email inbox is blowing up with the next best in beauty trends.
The nails at Jenny Packham spring/summer 2016 caught my eye. The collection boasted an earthy, ethereal vibe and to complement the look, Essie Global Lead Educator, Rita Remark, chose a bright standout blue to add an element of fun. Essie is one of my favorite nail brands. It’s affordable and I can always depend on the even application.
Here’s how you can get the look:
Apply a base coat to clean, filed nails
Next, apply two coats of butler please
Finish with a top coat
If bright blue nails don’t work for your 9-to-5, opt for a sheer, soft pink. Adore-a-ball by Essie is one of my favorites and perfect for the fall ball & gala season in Washington.
I have that shade! LOVE it!
STILL my favorite Essie shade – and I had to track it down because it was always sold out! lol I think I may need to go blue next 😉
What is the blue shade of essie called?
Pretty! Definitely a shade of blue I’d wear.
Loved that shade of blue!! <3
I adore that blue!
