I’ll admit, I’m a nail sticker virgin. I never really saw the purpose of them unless I was on the hunt for an ultra cool nail art design. But for some reason in the winter time, I get really lazy when it comes to DIY manicures (hence, many posts on nail art inspiration). So naturally, when I received this Maybelline Color Show Fashion Prints Nail Art Stickers in my stocking, I thought I’d give it a whirl.
Packed with 18 stickers, a cuticle stick and nail file, it’s easy to take with you if you want a quick mani on-the-go. The no-drying time is definitely a nice perk to nail stickers but the process of filing off any excess sticker is a little time consuming (especially if you’re a perfectionist), not to mention leaves a jagged feeling if it doesn’t cut evenly. The final result? A set of 10 digits decked out in cool metal prisms. Happy Monday!
I love the concept but I think the filing would drive me crazy. LOL
I love nail stickers. Here is why. I am sick of the look and paying for acrylic nails. Second, wanting to keep my nails short and natural, I trying gel males. But the process and the chemicals to remove the gels was to harsh on my nails. So I started to paint my own nails, bit they would always have that chipped look. I just could keep them nice. One day I ran across this type of nail stickers. Well they stick, they were easy to apply and they have such a clean finished look. I will never use liquid polish again. lov lov
