I’ve been in a rut… and it’s not the first time this year. As I continue to train at my new job, I am utterly exhausted during the week, thus, little motivation to write a blog post. In an effort to get out of this rut, I’m taking some advice from my blogger friend of Vici Loves on how to find inspiration.
I almost forgot how much I love NARS Lip Pencils, until I came across this awesome ranking of the best shades (both matte and satin shades) on ITG. Nice to see that my favorite shade, Roman Holiday, made the top 15.
Did you hear? CVS is adding more on-trend brands not often found in drugstores. This is part of a greater redesign of their beauty service model and I can’t wait to hear more about it.

While I LOVE my new job, the commute is much longer (an hour or longer… but who’s counting?). My husband suggested I start listening to podcasts and I’m so glad I took his advice! It has made my trip go by so much quicker. I’m a huge fan of NPR’s How I Built This and Side Hustle School, but I’d love to get more recommendations. Tell me about your favorites in the comments!
