Lately my Glossier pink bubble wrap pouch is hoarding my favorite lip products and according to my recent Twitter poll, it has been requested to share what’s in my makeup pouch.
When I made the switch from wearing a crossbody bag to a classic tote for work, the real estate in my LV Neverfull nearly tripled—so much so that I struggled coming up with what to fill it with. And in case you’re wondering, I comfortably fit my small agenda, a card case, coin purse, checkbook and of course my Glossier pink pouch.
Stila Water Plumping Primer— I don’t think this really plumps my lips but I do use this as a primer before applying liquid lipsticks. This helps keep my matte lipsticks from cracking and that icky dry feeling.
Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment—I love almost every color in this collection but I keep Rose (a sheer rosy tint) and Petal (a bold pink blossom) in my pouch when I crave a sheer lip color at work.
Kylie Lip Gloss in So Cute—I discovered this pale beige gloss last year and while it sat on my shelf for some time, I started using it recently and remembered how much I love its luminous effect.
IT Cosmetics Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment—because glowy lips. No but in all seriousness, I carry this with me everywhere and it gives my lips that glaze effect.
Buxom Full-On Lip Cream—I like to apply a sheer coat of the IT Cosmetics balm and apply a light layer on the center on my lips for a glass-like finish.
Glossier Flavored Balm Dotcom—While I haven’t used it as often as the ones I’ve mentioned here, I’m keeping this in my pouch for those frigid cold weather days. I also keep it on hand for my hubby when he’s having a chapped lip moment.
Bobbi Brown Brightening Lip Gloss—I’ve always had an affinity for this non-stick, no shimmer lip gloss. Picture here is ‘popsicle’ but I can’t find it on the internet so they must have discontinued it. It looks like their Rich Color gloss is comparable in formula and finish.
