I’ve been on the hunt for easy, portable makeup brushes. Next week marks my first business trip for my full-time gig—I’m going to Boston! With that said, I’m trying to pack as light as possible (which, if you know me, is no easy feat). When I was on vacation earlier this month, I only ended up using four products out of the 40 I packed. Need I say more?
This month, EcoTools sent me their five-piece Lovely Looks Brush Set, a must-have for traveling beauties like myself. This box includes a powder, angled blush, foundation, shadow and flat eyeliner brush—essentials for a start-to-finish makeup look for day or night. I love how soft the bristles are (seriously, I’m stroking them as I write this post).
My summer makeup routine has been pretty low key—I always opt for a trusty tinted moisturizer with SPF, mascara, a neutral creamy shadow, and a cream-based blush. In my opinion, the angled blush brush is the star product in this set—I’ve been trying to achieve that natural summer glow and the angled brush makes it easy to attain a natural rosy cheek for cream or powder blushes. Using these sleek travel-friendly bamboo brushes, I’ve been able to pull off an breezy summer makeup look thanks to these finishing products, perfectly priced under $15.
EcoTools Lovely Looks Set, $14.99
Special thanks to EcoTools for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.
Ecotools is great! Love your choices girlie.

Hello Kara,
Recognize that you are one of the top beauty bloggers in the US and I want to provide samples or our buffs for you to test.
We patented facial and body exfoliators 17 months ago and our buffs are dermatologist tested.
What makes us unique from all the other low priced products out on the market is we use open cell polyurethane foam which is naturally antifungal, antibacterial and allergen free. They are machine washable and very durable. I have estheticians that have washed theirs over 20 times in the past year. We provide 5 colors and intensities of foam so you can match the right color to the users skin type. Purple and blue are gentle and seem to work well on acne and psoriasis, green is mild for eczema, pink is moderate for keratosis pilaris, waxing and ingrown hairs and white is clinical for the real rough dry skin. There is a 19” arched handle available for users with lack of mobility to exfoliate the hard to get areas of the body.
Please check out our site for additional info and read some of our blogs on skin care.
Look forward to your response and the opportunity to ship you some of our buffs.
Thank you

Interesting, sounds like a nice set. I’m still looking for a good fluffy brush for my setting powder…
