Drugstore Beauty: Travel Hair, Makeup & Skin Essentials

Tomorrow I will be bathing suit bound and I can’t wait! This weekend I’m going to soak up the Ft. Lauderdale sun and I won’t have to think about shoveling my sidewalk or digging out my car from so much snow. Yesterday I went to CVS to pick up some last minute essentials for my trip (you know, as if I don’t have any beauty products at home or anything). I’m trying to pack a small suitcase so I don’t have to check any luggage so that 3 fl oz. rule is lingering over me as I prepare for my trip. Here are some drugstore essentials I’ll be taking with me:

Drugstore Beauty Products

Simple Face Care Starter Kit: I religiously use their facial wipes but I realized my beloved luxe cleanser and moisturizer probably wouldn’t make it on the plane, so I purchased this trio: Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash, Cleansing Wipes and Replenishing Rich Moisturizer; all under 3 fl. oz. (and under $7)!

CoverGirl TruMagic Skin Perfector: A Lucky Mag staffer raved about this drugstore discovery so I thought I’d give it a try. You can wear this under or over makeup, or use it throughout the day for touch-ups.

CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Bombshell: I’ve actually had this lipstick for a while but I recently re-discovered it as I was digging through one of my handbags for a pen. I’m sick of red lipstick so this is the perfect alternative for me right now.

Revlon Cream Blush in Charmed Enchantement: I love this smooth creamy formula that blends in to skin without drying too quickly (other cream blushes never stain my cheeks the right way). It’s also compact enough I can stash it in my purse.

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Peach Glow and Bronze Glow: I am totally going to stick out in a city filled with tan people so I have to pack double the amount of bronzers. I like both of these palette shades that have just the right amount of shimmer so instead of choosing one I’m bringing both.

Nuance Salma Hayek Texturizing Sea Salt Spray: First of all, I didn’t even know Salma Hayek had her own hair and skincare line until recently butI thought this trip would be the perfect time to test out her line. Hopefully this styling product will give me that tousled wavy look while taming my tresses!

Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa Mask: I got this in my Beauty Box 5 subscription and I specifically saved this $2.50 mask for this occasion.

Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream: This is still one of my favorite drugstore BB creams and I always keep coming back to this.

Any drugstore beauty product you’re loving right now?
