Flower Power: Clinique Cheek Pop Blush Review

Clinique Cheek Pop BlushGot a case of the winter blues? I’m right there with ya sista. An all too short long weekend down south is making me realize how desperate I am for warmer temperatures. Lucky for us, Clinique Cheek Pops blush channel will lift your mood… and your complexion. The Cheek Pops are available in four shades: Ginger Pop, Peach Pop, Berry Pop, and Plum Pop. Right now I’ve been switching between Berry Pop and Plum Pop, both wearable shades for day or night. I swirl my Real Techniques Blush Brush a few times and swipe on my cheekbones and temples for a pretty “just pinched” glow. If I want to amp up my look, I layer first with NARS Illuminator in Copacabana to prolong my glow. These Cheek Pops were formulated with a smooth liquid that slowly transformed as a distinct powder through a slow baking process but the results are pretty impressive. It’s lightweight in texture like a powder, but has the staying power of a cream blush. Clinique calls it patented technology, I call it flower power.

Clinique gifted me with complimentary samples but I promise, no one forced me to write this post, except Mother Nature.
