My friends and family know how much I enjoy trips to the blow dry bar. My boyfriend’s mom didn’t quite understand what a blow dry bar was when they first started popping up in the District so when I booked a blow out, she would refer to them as “blow jobs.” *Face Palm* But I’m thrilled to share with my DC beauty locavores that Blo Blow Dry Bar, the largest blow dry chain, is opening its first DC location in Dupont Circle on Saturday, March 22nd. From razor straight styles (appropriately titled “Executive Sweet”) to sexy tousled beach waves (“Pillow Talk”), customers can choose from seven different looks featured in the Blo Hair Menu. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments can also be booked in advance.
To kick-off opening weekend (March 22nd-23rd), Blo is offering specially priced $25 blow outs and a percentage of proceeds from every service will be donated to the Washington Humane Society.

haha to the blow job. I’ve heard great reviews about blo bars but I’ve yet to try one. I have insanely wild curly hair so I want to see how it’ll work on my texture.
