Yesterday I turned 26. Does this mean I’m officially in my late 20s? My fiancé took me to the casino and I spent all my birthday money on the penny slots. And now I officially start saving for my wedding. I guess I’m still in vacation mode so I didn’t have anything planned for today other than sharing with you my birthday makeup picks.
I was in the mood to wear pink so I opted for my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. I have to admit, earlier this year I wasn’t the biggest fan of this popular palette but using this has definitely brought out my creative side. You really can’t go wrong with any of these shades.
After testing a bunch of drugstore mascara for volume, length and curl, I’m still very much loyal to my CoverGirl Clump Crusher Extensions. No, we don’t want no clumps on my birthday.
I stopped in Bluemercury a couple weeks ago in search of an easy brightening, one-step concealer. This Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener does just that.
I’ve been living off my sampler size Dr. Jart+ Premium BB cream for quite some time now and its nearing empty so I guess I need to purchase the full-size because it really does work wonders. It’s light-weight but still offers a decent amount of coverage.
For a little bit of color, I added NARS bronzer in Laguna and blush in New Order. You can’t tell from the photo but I love the gold flecks in this blush formula. And to note, I love using my Stila #1 blush brush… perfect for touch-ups.
Happy Birthday Kara!! I turned 26 about 6 months ago and for some reason I keep forgetting how old I am…I seem to think I’m still 24. Lord.
I thought the Naked 3 palette would be too pink for me as well, so I opted for the Naked2. You just reminded me that I need to pick up another tube of the clump crusher mascara the next time I’m out!
